Surface Pattern Designer
As a freelance designer, Lucille creates prints for fashion, soft furnishings, wallpaper and home accessories. Her designs are a combination of hand sketching and/or painting techniques and CAD skills in Adobe programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and Fresco. Edits, color separations, recoloring and color matches along with technical repeats are finalized in Vector format for licensing.
Lucille's design studio is based in Philadelphia, PA [the original Workshop of the World]. She is a native of Philadelphia where she received her Bachelors Degree in Industrial Design from the University of the Arts. Her fashion design and textiles training span various prestigious institutions including Moore College of Art, Fashion Institute of Technology, Jefferson University, and Parsons where she is currently enrolled in their Streetwear Essentials program in collaboration with Complex. After completing FITSneaker Essentials Lucille went on to launch her first sneaker designs and she continues to produce new designs for custom made-to-order footwear in her spare time. Lucille has 20 years graphic design experience showcasing her versatility and reliability in home/office luxury furniture industry. She is an active member of the Textile Design Lab and The Art & Business of Surface Pattern Design communities.
